Mrs. Crocker stood by the window of their apartmnt.
"There are children feeding a cat on the fire escape outside" she said.
"Thats nice, dear." said Mr. Crocker leading her away from the window.
"Oh what a lovely couple." she said looking at their wedding photo. The picture was old and fadded but you could still see the faces of the young, just married couple. A picture of them on their 50th anniversery was next to the wedding photo and in it they still looked like newly weds. Now, after two years since that picture was taken, she hardly remembed hi, let alone the rest of the family. "They look familiar, do I know them?"
"You haven't seen them in a very long time. So you probabley don't remember them." he said.
"Is that the boy that lives down the hall?" she was refering to James who did look a lot like the younger Mr. Crocker. "I didn't know he got married but it doesn't look like he married that dark haired girl."
"Lucia and James are neighbors, dear."
"Oh, that is nice." he sat her on the couch next to him. "The dogis barking." she said.
